No Chain! This spacious detached chalet bungalow is found in the heart of Tedburn, a level walk to its amenities and enjoys flexible four double bedroom accommodation (or three beds & two reception rooms), plus a sizeable rear garden, ample parking & fantastic views!

This spacious detached chalet bungalow is found in a level position within this popular village, just a short walk to the shop, two pubs & primary school, it also has wonderful rural views from the rear.

The large accommodation offers flexibility as either four double bedrooms, or three bedrooms and two large reception rooms with bay windows to the front. Upstairs we have two large bedrooms served by a cloakroom with a WC & sink (there is plenty of space for a full shower room up here by slightly altering the layout), the ground floor includes a bath & shower room (separate double shower cubicle), a kitchen breakfast room with integrated Neff induction hob & oven, plus a handy utility room with plumbing & side entrance. All carpets have just been replaced and it has been decorated internally, heating is via off-peak electric heaters and the property is double glazed.

Outside: To the rear is an enclosed garden (14.6m x 12.7m) which backs onto fields and has a fantastic rural outlook for miles beyond, the garden was mostly used as vegetable plots, but could easily be returned to lawn if desired. The cellar (light, power & plumbing) has two main rooms plus a handy WC. Side access gates to both sides make it child & dog proof. To the front there is gated parking for four cars via a 12m driveway and an open-fronted car-port (7.17m).

St Michaels can be found using EX6 6EB, situated centrally between the local shop & the mini-roundabout.

Tedburn St Mary is village located a short drive from Exeter down the A30 (7 miles), and 5 miles across country from Crediton – through winding lanes. Its backdrop is that of high slopes, rounded hillforms and narrowing valleys. For everyday necessities there is a traditional village shop and for the kids a wonderful little primary school. If boredom ever strikes Tedburn presents a wide array of things to get stuck into, including: a drama group and a football club. Need to practice for the Ryder Cup? Or just unwind – ‘Fingle Glen Golf Hotel’ is nearby with an 18-hole golf course and luxurious accommodation. For some dramatic walks, ‘Fingle Bridge’ is only 6 (.2) miles away. Here the Teign River splashes and whirls its way over mossy boulders, through the middle of a precipitous, wooded gulley on the fringes of Dartmoor. Think: ‘The Lord of the Rings’, much of Dartmoor has been inspirational in the approach to ‘Middle Earth’ by the famous “Lotr” concept artist, Alan Lee.
