I'm Jamie Denning, a senior negotiator at Helmores. My journey into the world of estate agency started right out of college, when I landed my first 'proper job' at a student letting agency in Exeter. I spent nearly two years there, soaking up as much knowledge and experience as I could, before moving on to a residential letting agent in Okehampton for another two years. My career then took an unexpected turn into banking, where I worked my way up to become a Bank Manager, dedicating eight years to the sector. However, I eventually realised my true passion lay within estate agency work, leading me back to this dynamic field and to joining the Helmores team in December 2022.
I've always believed that being a people person with integrity and resilience are the keys to success in any profession. My professional yet approachable manner has helped me immensely, not just in navigating my varied career path, but also in making real connections with clients and colleagues alike. I pride myself on my ability to listen, understand, and act on our clients' needs, always with a friendly smile and the determination to 'make things happen'.
