Rob Stoyle MNAEA BNUC-S
Residential sales, marketing, social media, photography, aerial media
Probably the most experienced estate agent in this area, Rob has built up a huge knowledge of the local property market over the last 27 years. He has a thorough understanding of selling property, and has experienced just about every situation imaginable. Helmores is a family business and Rob grew up surrounded by his father, uncle, and grandfather who were all in the industry, so property really is in his veins! He has lived in Crediton all his life and knows the area incredibly well. He is a long standing qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents, and a fully qualified drone pilot.

George Clover FNAEA Bsc (hons)
Residential sales, valuations, selling advice, new homes
George worked in sales since leaving university in 1999. At Helmores, he started as an office based negotiator and quickly gained a passion for helping people move. He progressed to valuing properties, and in 2013 became an associate partner. George has a real focus on giving honest advice in an area in which he was brought up. He is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, an Associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Diploma in Residential Estate Agency.
Overall manager, ensuring lawful compliance on rental properties
Jo comes from a financial/accounting background, and started her career at Helmores in the accounts department, helping to start and grow the rentals business. Jo progressed to rentals manager in 2016 then on to office manager in 2017. Jo has an amazing eye for detail, with a real focus on rentals compliance, and making sure every box is ticked! She is an associate member of the Guild of Professional Estate Agents and a huge asset to Helmores.
Ian Blanchford CeRGI

Ian started his estate agency career in 1998 as a junior negotiator with an estate agency in Exeter, working his way up to a sales manager for a large national chain of estate agents. He joined Helmores in 2010 and spends most of his time out on the road carrying out valuations and taking new properties to the market. Ian thrives on providing honest, and thoroughly professional advice to clients and is highly motivated. He has lived & worked in mid Devon all of his life and is very happy to share his enthusiasm of the area with everyone he speaks to!
Jake Gresswell MRICS BSC (HONS)
Land and Planning Specialist

Jake is a qualified General Practice Chartered Surveyor and has worked in the residential development industry in the UK for the last 24 years. He trained with Plc developers, working on 1,000 + homes sites in Central London. He has run his own development company, developing out sites throughout southern England and has been Director of Operations and Land for an Extra Care developer. Jake has lived in the South West since 2009 and in this time has run his own development consultancy and formed a new land department for the south west region of a national estate agent. He joined Helmores in January 2015 and now heads up the very busy Land and Planning department.
Senior Sales Advisor

James has worked in Estate Agency since 2002 and specialises in residential and land sales. He has built up extensive knowledge of the local property market over the last 15 years and has professional and honest approach to his work. He studied property agency and surveying at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester which enables him to help buyers with technical and structural questions.
Senior Sales Advisor
Matching people to property, sales negotiations
Rona joined the Helmores crew in 2009 following a career in customer services with a large company in Exeter. She has a wealth of experience of helping people to move home, and has a busy role consisting of organising viewings, dealing with enquiries, and negotiating offers.
First time buyers, helping people to find and buy their dream home
Becky started her career in estate agency with a large chain in Exeter where she carried out her training. She has lived in Crediton all her life and knows the area extremely well. She loves helping people to find their dream home, and has a very professional yet relaxed manner. Becky specialises in first time buyer properties, so if you are looking to get onto the first rung of the property ladder pop in and see her – she can talk you through the entire process over a coffee, and you’ll be guaranteed a very warm welcome.
Sales Progression, checking chains, keeping sales on track
Loren joined Helmores originally as a junior sales negotiator, working her way up to a senior negotiator. In 2017 she was promoted to Sales Co-ordinator where she is responsible for seeing through property sales from offer stage to completion, and overcoming all the hurdles along the way. She guides buyers and sellers through the process, and generally keeps everyone informed and happy.
Overseeing all the office admin as well as creating beautiful sales brochures
Jessie has worked in property since leaving college in 1999 both in estate agency and legal professions. She started at Helmores in 2007, and is currently responsible for putting together all the beautiful sales details, and keeping on top of the huge amount of administration. Jessie is meticulous in her work, and has a great eye for the finer details. She loves the look on vendors’ faces when they see their details – they often say they would like to buy the property themselves!
Rentals Valuer/Marketing Specialist
First time Landlords, valuing rental property, ensuring compliance,marketing
Gill's role at Helmores is incredibly varied. She advises landlords of rental values, ensures that our rental properties are compliant with the law, deals with marketing of new and existing properties, and conducts viewings. She particularly enjoys meeting new tenants and building excellent relationships with landlords. Gill specialises in helping and advising first time Landlords. She has always had an interest in the property market and loves the fast pace of the lettings industry.
Rentals Valuer/Marketing Specialist
Valuing rental property, taking on new landlords and properties, marketing
Since leaving full time education, Mike has had a wide range of experience within customer service roles. He started as an administrator person for Helmores, and is now a Rentals Valuer. He meets new landlords, values and takes on properties, carries out viewings, deals with the application process and general day to day running of the rental department. Mike is a very knowledgeable chap, and knows the local area incredibly well having lived in Crediton for most of his life. Inventories and inspections
Julie has been working in the rental industry since 2011 and is a thoroughly professional and very approachable person. Her main role at Helmores is carrying out rental property inventories, and routine inspections. She works closely with the rental admin team making sure that properties are safe, lawfully compliant, and well maintained. Nothing is too much trouble for Julie, and she is very focussed on providing efficient and friendly customer service to tenants and landlords.
Providing support to landlords and tenants for maintenance
Tina has lived and worked in the area for many years, and prior to starting with Helmores, she was an administrator for a local primary school. Her role at Helmores focuses on organising routine and unexpected maintenance on our managed rental properties, and to ensure that work is carried out quickly, efficiently, and to a high standard. Tina is a real hard worker, and an integral part of the rentals crew.
First time renters, helping tenants to find their ideal home
Bethany has been in rentals for over 6 years, and having returned to Helmores after having a baby boy, her role at Helmores is meeting and greeting people in the office, and general rental administration. She loves to help tenants find their perfect home, and find perfect tenants for our landlords’ properties! If you are a first time renter and unsure of the process pop in and see Bethany – she’ll gladly chat everything through with you over a coffee.
Preparing all the paperwork and legal documentation for tenancy starts
Claire has been in estate agency for almost ten years. Initially for a small independent company where she started on Saturday viewings eventually working up to valuations and instruction taking, along with brochure production. At Helmores she is responsible for the huge amount of rental administration, and preparing tenancy starts making sure all the paperwork and legal documents are in place ready for a smooth move!
Sales & Rentals Advisor
Providing valuable support to the sales and rentals teams
Sue has a long background in property having worked for the Homes & Communities Agency for 22 years. Sue loves being part of the Helmores team, and is a perfect fit with her bubbly character and lovely sense of humor. Her main role is registering new buyers, arranging viewings, valuations, dealing with many varied enquiries and being a big support to the sales and rentals teams.
Meeting vendors, conducting viewings, providing feedback
Caroline lived in the Midlands before relocating to Devon, and has a background in administration and customer service. Her enthusiasm for meeting new people, coupled with her love of houses and interior design means that she has her dream job at Helmores! Caroline is extremely friendly, thoroughly professional, and will make you feel right at home straight away. She absolutely loves helping people to find their perfect home.
Sharon has lived in mid Devon all her life and has endless local knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for helping people to find their perfect property. Nothing is too much trouble for her, and she absolutely thrives on meeting new people and getting to know what they are looking for. Once you have met her, she is sure to make a great impression on you!
Showing people around properties, guru of all things local
Roger has lived in mid Devon for many years, and what he doesn’t know about the area isn’t worth knowing! This, together with his endless enthusiasm and excellent customer skills will put you right at ease whilst you are looking for your dream Devon home. Roger has thoroughly enjoyed his role with us since he joined the crew in 2015.
Landlord payments, and everything financial
Sam has a background of several years working in banking and has held various accountancy positions within the design, medical and property sectors. At Helmores he manages the finances of the entire business including the busy rental department, ensuring landlords are paid on time!
Administration, local knowledge, sales and rental details
Lin originally started with Helmores in 1985 and has seen huge advances in technology over the years in the industry, especially with the emergence of IT - back in the 80’s she was using typewriters and carbon paper! Lin has lived in the area all her life and knows the area like the back of her hand. Her role at Helmores sees her dealing with administration, and helping to put together sales/rental brochures.

Advertising concepts, brand development
Toby studied at Plymouth College of Art & Design before cutting his teeth in creative design studios in central London for 10 years. He returned to the South West working in Exeter as a senior designer & branding consultant. He brings a wealth of experience in designing brand communications from signage to corporate brochures to advertising concepts, keeping a keen eye on the development of the Helmores brand. Toby creates engaging marketing campaigns and colourful designs, and is an absolute wizard of lightbulb moments!
In-House Professional Photographer
Thomas has worked for Virgin EMI, Universal, 20th Century Fox, MTV, Fashion Grunge, Art on the side, Capital Records, Last Dazes, Milk Studios, Lenis Models, Premier Models, M±P Models, Nevs London, MC2 NYC, FM London to name a few. He ensures that every photo - even in post production is as perfect as it can possibly be ensuring properties are shown in the best possible light.
Phil Morgan MNAEA
I oversee the running of the business on a daily basis and enjoy working and motivating an excellent team of local people, providing a first class service to clients and applicants. I have a well proven track over the last 20+ years in providing excellent customer service and managing successful teams. I spend a lot of my time, providing valuations and preparing properties to go on the market. I also work on marketing strategies and work hard to retain our position as the leading estate agent in the Mid Devon area. I am a long standing, fully qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents.
