    I joined Helmores in 1990. Today I have direct control over all aspects of the business, although my main focus is on marketing these days. I love working with my fantastic team of forward thinking people who really have a passion for making things happen. I have extensive knowledge of the local property market (some 26+ years), and have a wealth of experience of selling property in both the good times, and the not so good times too. I am a long standing qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents, and I am fully qualified with EuroUSC to fly a UAV (drone) together with permissions for aerial work from the Civil Aviation Authority.

    I oversee the running of the business on a daily basis and enjoy working and motivating an excellent team of local people, providing a first class service to clients and applicants. I have a well proven track over the last 20+ years in providing excellent customer service and managing successful teams. I spend a lot of my time, providing valuations and preparing properties to go on the market. I also work on marketing strategies and work hard to retain our position as the leading estate agent in the Mid Devon area. I am a long standing, fully qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents.

    Having grown up in the area, it is a pleasure to be able to work out and about in Mid-Devon, helping people to move home when the time comes. I am one of the partners here at Helmores and spend much of my time giving advice on values and proposing new and innovative ways to market local homes. I live in Crediton town itself and take an active role in the community and local sports.

    Having lived & worked in Mid-Devon all of my life and with my whole family living locally, I truly have Devon blood running through my veins, I know how lucky I am to live here and I’m happy to share this enthusiasm with everyone I speak to!

    I have worked within Estate Agency since 1999 (nearly half my life!) and was over the moon to be offered an opportunity to ‘come back home’ and work for Helmores in 2010 – My parents (Dave & Monica) have used Helmores for property transactions since the 1960’s, so I knew it was a honest & professional company to work for.…I had no idea that within 3 years we would have grown and progressed to such a degree we were winning awards for the whole of the South-West! Quite simply, the best career decision I have ever made!

    I work incredibly hard to help people move, specialising in valuing and marketing properties within Mid-Devon - I look to give honest & professional advice for clients to make the best decision for them…It seems to be working, I have been directly involved with marketing or negotiating over 400 property sales in my time at Helmores alone.

    I'm a qualified General Practice Chartered Surveyor and have worked in the residential development industry in the UK for the last 21 years. I trained with Plc developers, working on 1,000 + homes sites in Central London and developed a number of office to residential conversion projects. I created my own development company with a colleague, based in Southern England, taking a projects from their infancy through the planning process and managing their construction through to completion. I've been a Director of Land Acquisition and Operations for a care home operator and also a Development Manager for the South Australian Government. I've lived in the South West since 2009 and in this time have run my own development consultancy and formed a new land department for the south west region of a national estate agent. I joined Helmores in January 2015 and helped to set up Helmores Land and Planning.

    I worked in the estate agency industry for 10 years before joining Helmores in 2012. Specialising in both residential sales and lettings, I’ve built up extensive knowledge of the local market. I studied property agency & surveying at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester.

    I have always lived locally and started working at Helmores in 2009. My main roles within the office include handling offers, arranging viewings, guiding sales through to completion and dealing with day to day enquires from both new and existing clients.

    I joined the Helmores team in early 2009. My busy role consists of organising viewings, dealing with enquiries, negotiating offers, progressing sales, and going out and about on viewings too. When I’m not at work you will mostly find me being dragged along the road by my Springer Spaniel!

    I have been working in property since leaving college in 1999 but have previously worked on the legal side of selling properties. I started as a sales negotiator with Helmores in January 2007, moving onto sales progressing, and now I look after the secretarial and administration side of the business. I live in Crediton with my husband and 2 sons.

    I’ve been in estate agency since the 1980’s with Helmores, and have dealt with many thousands of happy buyers and sellers over the years! I’ve seen some amazing changes over the years especially with the emergence of IT - when I started we were still using typewriters and carbon paper! I’ve lived in the area all my life.

    I have lived in the area all my life. Since leaving school I have been in a range of customer service and office based jobs. I have recently joined Helmores as I am looking to build a career within a estate agency. My roles here include arranging and accompanying viewings, dealing with maintenance of properties, negotiating and administration.

    I have worked in customer service since leaving school/college and worked locally in rentals before joining Helmores in 2013. I deal with the day to day negotiating, administration, local viewings, inspections and inventories.

    I joined the Rentals team at Helmores after a break from work whilst bringing up my children. I’m married to my husband Richard and live in Crediton. I have always had an interest in the property market and love meeting so many different people. I always strive to provide the best possible service for our clients and treat people as I would like to be treated. My roles include dealing with any maintenance issues, routine property inspections, telephone and email enquiries, to name just a few!

    I studied at Plymouth College of Art & Design before cutting my teeth in creative design studios in central London for 10 years. I returned to the South West working in Exeter as a senior designer & branding consultant.

    I bring a wealth of experience in designing brand communications from signage to corporate brochures to advertising concepts, keeping a keen eye on the development of the Helmores brand.
